A fortnight ago, our automation technician Florian was at the all about automation trade fair in Hamburg and visited the booth of IMS Connector Systems. IMS offers intelligent connectors for automation components on machines. At the all about automation, IMS exhibited its Smart Connector together with the digital maintenance assistant from ai-omatic. Both products in combination can help customers to better exploit potentials. For this purpose, the values measured by the Smart Connector are evaluated with ai-omatic's digital maintenance assistant and checked for anomalies. In this way, the customer can recognize at an early stage if a cable breaks and intervene in time.
