Do you want to help shape a growth-oriented tech company — strategically, operationally and with an entrepreneurial mindset? In this role, you will be responsible for market analyses, go-to-market strategies, partnerships, lead generation, and well-founded growth decisions. Together with our founding team and the product and sales units, you will develop new potential — from new markets to investor relations.

These tasks await you:
  • Market and competition analysis:
    Identification of new markets, customer and industry segments
    • Preparation of market analyses, trend monitoring (e.g. new technologies, regulations)
    • Competitive monitoring and benchmarking

  • Partnerships & Collaborations:
    • Development of strategic partnerships (e.g. with platforms, distribution partners, system integrators)
    • Exploring alliances (e.g. for co-selling, technology integration)
    • Maintaining networks at industry events, conferences or trade fairs
  • Lead generation and sales enablement:
    • Development and maintenance of a sales pipeline in collaboration with sales
    • Development and implementation of go-to-market strategies
    • Identify target customers and formulate initial approaches (sometimes “outbound sales light”)
  • Product-related strategy development:
    • Coordination with the product team as to which features would be necessary for new markets/use cases
    • Validating MVPs with pilot customers
    • Co-designing pricing strategies or bundles
  • Financing & Investor Relations:
    • Collaboration on pitch decks or business cases for financing rounds
    • Contribute market and sales forecasts
    • Preparation of KPIs or market arguments for investors
  • Internal processes & scaling:
    • Development of processes for partner acquisition, customer onboarding, or channel sales
    • Assistance in entering new geographical markets
    • Collaboration on the structuring of CRM, KPIs, reporting

What you should bring with you:
  • Strategic growth expertise: Several years of experience in business development, growth or strategy — ideally in a B2B tech or SaaS environment. You have been responsible for go-to-market strategies, opened up new markets and established partnerships
  • Good number comprehension & Excel skills: Proficient use of Excel and a good understanding of figures, KPIs and economic relationships.
  • Leadership & Ownership: You take on responsibility, can lead teams and work cross-functionally — especially at the interface between product, sales and management
  • Analytical & entrepreneurial thinking: You recognize market potential, think in terms of KPIs and can develop business cases, forecasts and pricing models — even for investors
  • Strong communication skills & maker mentality: You are confident, able to convince others and get things rolling pragmatically
