Petcom is a leading manufacturer of high-quality pet food and operates modern production lines for the extrusion, drying and refinement of animal feed. Since September 1, 2023, our customer has been working with us to monitor one of its main plants on the basis of process data. The results speak for themselves: early detection of damage to the hammer mill, better planning, higher availability.
Now - with a new project start in July 2025 - additional machines such as conditioners, coaters, tube chain conveyors and the cutter head of an extruder are being connected. And this time, Petcom is relying on our All-in-one “Retrofit & Predict” package, which we developed together with KSB.
In order to prepare the new project in the best possible way, we visited Petcom at its site a few weeks ago. The animal feed plant was completely analyzed — from the identification of frequently failing components to the specific placement of the measurement points.
